This is a yearly tradition for my grandchildren and I and I wouldn’t miss it bc of them. The show was good. Each year the price rises and the souvenirs were just outrageous this year. We of course have to get something bc everyone has them. I am handicapped in that I cannot stand or walk very far at all. I don’t routinely use a wheelchair or scooter but I do when I attend these type of events. I don’t bring my own bc then we Have to sit in the handicap areas which are not great seats. We always sit right on the ice. Every year for at least 5 years now we have a hassle when we arrive at the Alamodome even though I call in advance every year. They eventually bring a wheelchair and escort me(the ADA assistants are always great) but it takes so long with ppl arguing about the policy that arriving over an hour before we actually arrived at our seats as the show had just started. Show 4 stars. Alamodome 2stars
I don’t know what happened to the ice capades, definitely not the same anymore. Theres no story line. They should just keep it one theme and go with it. FROZEN, ENCANTO, RAPUNZEL, CARS, or just Disney princesses. The performance was awesome but the storyline not so much. It’s been years since I’d gone and frankly I don’t know if I’d go again. Definitely going to look at the reviews next time before I get tickets. Never imagined it would be so disappointing
We had floor seats to celebrate my 4 year old’s birthday! He was ecstatic to be there, as were we. However, 4th row floor seats are terrible. The 3rd row guests kept standing up to take videos and pictures. The children were standing on the chairs, leaving us unable to see. They were asked multiple times to have their children sit. They would immediately comply, and do it again. It would have made the experience better if the floor seats were tiered so back row can see. Otherwise hope the people in front are short. Additionally, it would’ve been nice if photography/cinematography of the event was limited. It’s distracting to those that are enjoying it in the moment.
I was disappointed. The length of the show was very long since you had intermission. Souvenirs were OUTRAGEOUSLY priced. The skating was ok. The tricks were sloppy. You could tell when mistakes happened. I was hoping to see more then just basic skating and a leg lift here or there. There was no big tricks. I had my 2 year old daughter and 9 year old son. And neither were impressed.
Loved the show. It was a whole new show. Disney on ice is a family tradition.
Such a great experience seeing your kids laughing a singing along is priceless as always! Would highly recommend!!
Grandkids loved it and entertaining for the whole family
I’ve taken my family to Disney on ice every year as it has become tradition and I feel like production went downhill this year. They tried to incorporate more, shorter sections of different movies but some of their choice of songs weren’t as fun as they had been in the past. I was expecting an outstanding performance like Mickey’s Search Party. Overall it felt like the show had been shortened and I don’t feel I got what my ticket was worth for each member of my family. We spent over $1000 just to get in.. spent another $500+ in concessions and merchandise. Walked away at end of show feeling somewhat dissatisfied.
We had amazing seats and my 3yr old enjoyed all the Disney and Pixar characters! Her favorite were Raya and Frozen! Everyone did such a wonderful performance! Definitely will do this again!
